I don't believe it has necessarily been the volume of work I have been doing that has caused this, but I have not been getting enough quality sleep and even my food intake has been a little too low. All of these are easy to manage but as a small biz. owner, CrossFit Coach, Personal Trainer, husband, step-father, and soon-to-be intern I tend to neglect these things.
MY PLAN:
How am I going to fix this problem:
- I will be going to bed about 30 min earlier
- I will be preparing 2 more meals a day for myself
- I am going to supplement with Natural Calm and zinc before bed
Have you ever felt like you needed more rest right before a big event? Did you just push through it? Why? What did you do to improve your recovery/performance?
