Thruster PR and Music

Great sessions so far this week. Still mixing endurance WODs, strength WODs, and CFMG WODs. Running is also feeling a little better, especially since I put my Nike Frees on :).

Had thrusters in my strength training today. Worked my way up to 237#, thank God for fractional plates, and it felt great. Checkout the vid. here. Jumped it up to 240# and failed even though it was an easy clean and I was able to get it almost all the way over my head, just not locked out.

I'm real spoiled having my own facility to train at. I can easily pick the music I want to listen to while training. If I'm training with a class though I usually leave it up to the Coach, but I prefer rap when I train. I know some people say they can't hear the music when they train, but I hear everything :). Music, I believe, makes a HUGE difference. Yet I do see the benefit, psychologically, of training without music or maybe even music you don't enjoy. I'd love to know what other CrossFitters listen to while training.

 I like training to this one!
