3 Weeks Out


In an effort to better document my training, I have decided to start-up this blog. I am in the pursuit of elite fitness, thus the title.
We are currently three weeks out from the 2011 "Open Sectionals" for the CrossFit Games. Most of you know that I was lucky enough to compete in the 2010 Southwest Regional last year, and went head-to-head with some amazing CrossFit athletes. My goal this year is to again make an appearance in the 2011 Southwest Regionals.
I will make an effort to post 2-3x per week and keep everyone updated on my journey.
In the meantime Here are some of my stats (please know that some of these 1RMs are a few months old and I may retest soon):

Age: 26
Height: 5'5.5"
Weight: 175#

Clean and Jerk: 245#
Snatch: 185#
Deadlift: 460#
Push-press: 235#
Front Squat: 320# (w/belt)
Back Squat: 350# (w/ belt)

Fran: 2:37
Cindy: 29
Grace: 2:23
Annie: 6:39

Currently my training is as follows: 2 on 1 off 3 on 1 off. I will often train 2x per day, sometimes 3x. I make an effort to train all biases, ensuring I get a minimum of 2 strength biased sessions per week. I also try to place multiple high skill movements into my workouts. I currently train with other local competitors here in San Diego, The CrossFit Mission Gorge (CFMG) Affiliate team, and in our regular scheduled classes at CFMG.
